Model answer
Dear Ms. Nguyen,
I am writing to ask whether I could change my work schedule temporarily during March and April. I have enrolled in a digital marketing certificate course that meets on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., which overlaps with the last three hours of my usual shift on those days.
I would like to propose starting at 8:00 a.m. instead of noon on Wednesdays and Fridays, so that I can still work my full eight hours before leaving at 4:00 p.m.
Please be assured that this change will not affect the quality of my work or my ability to meet deadlines. I will continue to attend all team meetings and will be available by email and phone throughout the working day.
Thank you for considering my request. I would be happy to discuss it at a time that suits you.
Best regards, Liam Foster
